Remote amateur radio repeaters for Northeastern Washington and Northern Idaho!
We would like to install amateur radio repeaters in locations that do not have good repeater coverage. Part of the goal is to connect the very remote systems to more populated areas (primarily Spokane). We prefer to partner with other organizations to tie into existing systems when possible.
Here are 3 projects we would like to work on:
Idaho - Priest Lake amateur radio repeater
Priest Lake, ID Coolin, ID Priest River, ID Nordman, ID
Idaho - Coeur d'Alene National Forest (Idaho Panhandle National Forest) amateur radio repeater
Magee Ranger Station, ID Coeur d'Alene River, ID Pritchard, ID
Washington - Colville National Forest amateur radio repeater
The first areas of interest are remote areas of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. These are areas that have the following communities as the closest communities, but not close enough for radio coverage: Spokane, Colville, Coeur d'Alene, Kingston, Kellogg. In other words, there are popular recreation areas outside of these cities, but little communications available.
We would like to hear from potential users of remote repeaters as well as those who are able to help out in any way.

Thanks for your interest in remote communications!
